2017/18 – Hydro Dynamics

This year, the BotBuilders were a team of five students ranging from yr5 to yr9 from a total of 4 different schools.

Being our second year, we were able to learn from last year’s mistakes. We learned last year that using pins to put attachments on the robot was very slow and increased the level of stress at the robot table. So, this year we decided to build a box type robot after watching many different videos from winning teams last year. We found a great robot design that we were able to modify for our own needs.

We all put in as much effort as we physically could and achieved a lot throughout the season.
