FIRST LEGO League is an international competition organised by FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) for students aged between 9 and 16 years old. Each year in August, FIRST LEGO League introduces a scientific and real-world challenge for teams to focus and research on, this is combined with a robotics part of the competition involves designing and programming LEGO robots to complete tasks on a mission table.
Teams get 2 minutes and 30 seconds to complete as many tasks as they can. They are only allowed to touch the robot on a certain part of the mission table, otherwise they will loose points.
